Sometimes experimenting is taking something you already know how to cook and sprucing it up. Everyone has had a hot dog. While a classic dog with mustard and ketchup brings back fond memories of childhood this Buffalo Blue Hot Dog brings a lot of sophistication to the flavor pallet. This Hot Dog is loaded with flavor and makes your taste buds tingle.

-
4 Potato hot dog buns
-
8 Slices of bacon
-
4 oz Blue Cheese Crumbles
-
Pepper jack Cheese or Habanero Cheese
Directions
Cook your Hot Dog however you like (we prefer to the grill to get the grill marks)
Toast your buns on grill or in oven
Place 2 slices of bacon on bun, add hot dog, cheese, blue cheese crumbles, a drizzle of One-legged Chicken buffalo sauce, and sprinkle with Lane's Scorpion Rub
Recipe Note
- You can use regular hot dog buns if you prefer
- Try pepper relish or jalapeños to kick it up
- To get more toppings on your dog try splitting/butterflying your dog and cooking it on a griddle. gets a great crust and all your toppings are in the middle of your hot dog.
