Fall-apart tender chuck roast slow-cooked with Lane’s Steak Supreme Rub, ranch seasoning, Au Jus mix, butter, and tangy pepperoncini for a rich, savory masterpiece. Whether you smoke it low or let it braise all day in the slow cooker, this Mississippi Pot Roast is comfort for dinner (and lunch tomorrow).

1 - 3-4lb Chuck Roast

1 Jar of pepperoncini (mild)

1 Stick of butter

1 Packet of Au Jus seasoning (1 oz)
Directions
Smoker Directions
Season all Sides of the Chuck Roast with Steak Supreme Rub
Set the smoker to indirect at 275 degrees and place the seasoned chuck roast on the smoker. Smoke for 2 hours
In a Dutch oven with a lid, place the smoked chuck roast in the middle. Add 1 tbsp Ranch seasoning, 1 packet of Au Ju mix, 1 stick of butter (¼ cup), and half a jar of pepperoncini with half a jar of liquid. Cover with lid and place back on the smoker at 275 for another 2 hours.
Check the internal temperature after 2 hours. Once the internal temperature is between 205 and 210, shred with forks and enjoy with mashed potatoes or your favorite side.
Slow Cooker Directions
Set the slow cooker to low. Season all sides of the Chuck Roast with Steak Supreme Rub and place in the middle of the slow cooker. Add 1 tbsp Ranch seasoning, 1 packet of Au Ju mix, 1 stick of butter (¼ cup), and half a jar of pepperoncini with half a jar of liquid.
Cover and cook on low for around 8 hours. Once the internal temperature is between 205 and 210, shred with forks and enjoy with mashed potatoes or your favorite side.
