Pow Pow pork meatballs are a delightfully tasty treat that bring together all the unique flavors of Asian-inspired cuisine into one delightful bite. These juicy morsels boast the sweet and savory combination of garlic, ginger, Lane's Pow Pow sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oilβa perfect blend for any palate. These nuggets of succulent pork add an unmistakably rich flavor to every bite.
Preheat oven/grill/smoker to 375 degrees F. If using a charcoal or gas grill, setup to cook over indirect heat.
In a large mixing bowl combine: ground pork, 1 Tbls Pow Pow marinade, 1 Tbls Hoisin sauce, 1 Tbls Honey Sriracha rub, garlic, green onion, egg, and panko breadcrumbs and mix well to combine.
Wet your hands lightly (to prevent meatballs from sticking to you) and shape into approximately golf ball(approx. 2 Tbls) sized balls.
In a small bowl combine: ΒΌ cup Hoisin, 1 Tbls Pow Pow, honey, and sesame oil.
Cook until browned and internal temp has reached at least 140 degrees F.
Brush glaze mixture over meatballs and cook for 5-10 minutes or until glaze has thickened.
When meatballs are done, put on a serving platter and sprinkle with green onion and sesame seeds. Add a skewer or toothpick to each and serve.
