Mac n Cheese in a dish


Bring water in a large pot to a boil. 

Once boiling, add Barilla elbow noodles and boil for 4 1/2 minutes. 

Drain and place in a casserole dish 13x9. 

In a pot add butter, sour cream, half & half, Lane's Garlic2 Rub, and milk and warm ingredients at medium heat. 

Cube the Velveeta cheese and add to the mixture until melted. Pour mixture over cooked noodles, stir, and cover


Bake at 350 for 20 minutes - uncover and place back in the oven for 10 minutes

I was disappointed to see that this recipe called for a block of velveeta. I saw your recipe in a magazine using the Lanes BBQ garlic 2 rub and it called for 2lbs of sharp chedder and 2lbs. Of smoked gouda instead. I guess someone substituted real cheese for the fake cheese that is called for here.
