Ingredients

Original Chili Mix

1 lb lean Ground Beef
-
¼ chopped Onion (or more to your preference)
-
1 can tomato sauce (15oz)
-
1 can kidney beans (15oz)
-
1 can stewed tomatoes (14oz)
Optional Add-ins

Sour Cream
-
Cheese
-
Chives or your favorite garnish
Directions
In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef over medium heat (5-10 minutes). Add chopped onion about halfway through to soften. Drain any fat out.
Add 1 packet Lane’s Original Chili Mix, kidney beans(drained), stewed tomatoes (with liquid), and tomato sauce. Bring to a light boil, reduce the heat to low, and cover. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
For a thinner chili you can add up to a cup of water. To thicken just simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes.
