Preheat grill or smoker to 275°F.
Remove baby back ribs from the package and flip over. Remove membrane from the backside of the ribs. Lightly coat with mayo. Season front and back of ribs liberally with Lane's Granulated Honey and Apple Pie Rub.
Let ribs sit 20-30 minutes for rub to adhere to the ribs.
Smoke ribs, meat side up, for 2 hours or until it hits 165°F.
On a long double layer of foil, place 2-4 slices of butter down, 2tbls of honey and brown sugar as well. Place ribs meat side down onto to the butter, honey, and brown sugar and wrap tightly.
Smoke for one more hour, unwrap and place ribs back on smoke for 20-30 more minutes until desired color.
Rest for 15-20 minutes and slice, then serve.
- Use a butter knife or spoon to help with removing the membrane.
- A paper towel will help with grip on the membrane as well.
