Ingredients
-
Lane’s Ultimate Ham Kit
-
Lane’s Southbound Sauce
-
1 Ham (not spiral cut)
-
Lane’s Kinda Sweet Sauce
-
2-3 Cups Chicken Stock
-
Any Sides, Bread, or Buns to pair with it
Directions
Preheat smoker to 225°F.
Cover all sides of the ham with Lane's Southbound sauce.
Generously coat with Lane's Sweet Heat or Apple Pie from the Lane's Ultimate Ham Kit.
Place on the smoker at 225 degrees Fahrenheit until an internal temp of 160 degree Fahrenheit, spritzing with chicken stock every hour.
At 160 degrees internal, place into a foil pan, pour 1-2 cups of chicken stock into the pan, and cover.
Cook to probe tender, around 201-208 degrees Fahrenheit.
Allow to rest covered for 1-2+ hours, making sure the internal temp does not drop below 150 degrees.
Pour the liquid into a fat separator.
Add the 2 jars of glaze from the Lane's Ultimate Ham Kit and some Lane's Kinda Sweet sauce (about ½ cup or to taste) to the meat.
Pour liquid (without the fat) from the fat separator back over the ham and mix thoroughly.
Serve and enjoy!
