Ingredients

Cubano Rub

Southbound Sauce

smoked brisket, sliced

pulled pork
-
cuban roll or any large sandwich roll

sandwich sliced pickles

sliced muenster cheese
-
fried onions
-
pickled jalapenos (optional)
Directions
Preheat grill or smoker to 350˚F.
Slice sandwich roll lengthwise, apply a layer of Southbound sauce on each side.
Layer on the sliced brisket, pulled pork, pickles, cheese, onions, and jalapenos if desired. Dust with a little Cubano rub for added flavor!
Grill sandwich on both sides for 5-10 minutes or until bread is crispy and cheese has melted thoroughly.
Slice sandwich and serve!
Recipe Note
- The brisket we used was seasoned with Cubano rub, but any smoked brisket will work!
