Ingredients

Smoked spiral sliced ham

Lane's Apple Pie Rub

½ jar Wishams Apple Fig Pepper Jelly

1 tbsp Lane's Original Smoked Salt

1 Stick unsalted butter

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

Duck Fat Spray
-
Rectangle Aluminum foil Pan
Directions
Set smoker to 275 degrees
Place ham in aluminum foil pan. Spray ham with Duck fat spray and season spiral smoked ham with Lane's Apple Pie rub.
Smoke for about 2 - 3 hours until internal temp of ham is 140 degrees
Pour glaze over top of ham
Leave on smoker for another 5 to 10 minutes to caramelize glaze
Making the Glaze
Place a small sauce pot on stovetop over medium high heat
Add butter, brown sugar, Original smoked salt, and Wishams Apple Fig Pepper Jelly. Bring to a light boil until fully mixed

Hey Dan, you would just season the outside and let the flavors cook into the ham.

When seasoning the ham, do you try and get the rub in between the spiral cuts or just on the outside?

Hey Jim, if it is not a spiral ham it would be best to make some cuts into the ham just to help with the flavoring and smoking a bit. Plus it would make it easier to slice from those cuts when finished.

Recipe works amazingly great with using just a small jar of regular apple jelly as well. In fact, you can use any fruity flavored Jelly, from Apple to raspberry. Switch it up to he creative! Great recipe !!! 5 STARS !!!
