Get ready to treat your taste buds with these mouthwatering Apple Pie Ribs. This recipe combines the smoky flavors of BBQ ribs with the sweet and savory taste of Lane's Apple Pie Rub. Simply season the ribs with the rub, smoke them in a smoker set to 275°F until they reach an internal temperature of 195°F. Then, brush on some Lane's Kinda Sweet BBQ sauce and continue smoking until the sauce sets and the ribs reach an internal temperature of 205°F. Finish it off by sprinkling more of the Apple Pie rub and letting the ribs rest before serving. These ribs are a perfect blend of flavors that will have everyone asking for seconds!
Ingredients
-
Lane’s Apple Pie Rub
-
Spare Ribs or Baby Back Ribs
-
Lane’s Kinda Sweet
Directions
I do not remove the membrane (My Preference) After trimming and shaping the ribs, liberally season with Lane’s Apple Pie rub over the meat (top) portion of the rib. You shouldn’t see much meat peeking through if any.
Set your smoker to 275 and place the ribs meat side up. Smoke until the ribs reach 195 internal temp (Around 3 - 4 hrs)
Once ribs get to 195° or 15-20 min before your preferred doneness, mop or brush on your favorite bbq sauce such as Lane’s Kinda Sweet and place back on the smoker.
Once sauce has set and ribs probe 205°, remove from smoker and lightly sprinkle more Lane’s Apple Pie rub.
Let ribs rest for 25 min or until they are not too hot to the touch. Enjoy
