Tired of cereal? Tired of breakfast bars? Then you need to try this super fun and easy recipe! Get the kids involved, they will love it. Who doesn't like sausage, muffins, and syrup? The flavors are incredible. This is a great Saturday morning breakfast and a great way to break the routine of the same ole stuff.
Ingredients

Lane's Blueberry Muffin Seasoning

1 lb of ground mild sausage

2-3 Blueberry Muffins
-
Maple syrup
-
(Optional) Lane's Southbound Carolina Mustard
-
Optional seasoning - Lanes Apple Pie
Directions
Preheat Grill (indirect) to 250 degrees or oven to 300 degrees.
Flatten out sausage into rectangle shape
Crumble the blueberry muffins and form into log in the center of the sausage.
Sprinkle a tsp Lane's Blueberry Muffin Seasoning over muffins and drizzle maple syrup.
Roll sausage around muffin and form into the fatty. Fully enclose the muffins in the sausage.
Coat the top of the Fatty with Lane’s Desserts Blueberry Muffin Seasoning.
Throw on the grill and cook indirect until internal temp of the sausage is 160 degrees. (300 degrees in the oven for about 30 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160)
Remove, cool, slice, serve, Enjoy!!

- If you don’t have blueberry seasoning use our Apple Pie Rub
- You can turn things up with spicy sausage. Maybe make a kid-friendly and an adult-friendly version.
- If you have a larger family make two or make one using 2lbs of sausage.

Try adding some chopped up candied jalapeno slices (or leave them whole) and sprinkle them across the sausage, then pat down into the meat a bit, prior to adding the crumbled muffin.
