Lane's BBQ
Ranch dressing got me through a lot of hard times in my life. I have somewhat of a loyalty to all things Ranch because of it. Big bad break-ups - Ranch was there! Arguments with my boss - Ranch was there! Babies keeping me up all hours of the night - yep Ranch was there. I was as loyal as they come, that is until I stumbled across Cubano Dressing! One of my guys came in one morning with a tub of this stuff to let us try it. It was so good my first reaction was to take a swing at him, good thing I missed. Now I make sure that we keep this stocked in our fridge at all times. I hate to say goodbye to my Ranch, we've been through a lot! Cubano Dressing has you beat any day of the week and twice on Sundays!
Ingredients
- Lane's Cubano Seasoning
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- Lemon Juice
- Salt
Directions
- Mix whole milk, mayonnaise, and sour cream in a bowl (If you like more of a thinner dressing you can add more milk or if you like a thicker dressing you can add more sour cream)
- Add 1 to 2 tbsp Lane's Cubano Rub, about 1 tbsp lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to the bowl and mix. You can add more Cubano to your taste. However, the Cubano ingredients will breakdown over a couple of hours in the fridge which adds more flavor.
- Place in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours to allow the ingredients and the Cubano Rub to breakdown a bit.
Recipe Note
You can make as much or as little as you want really! The ratios are 1:1:1 - 1 part milk, 1 part mayonnaise, 1 part sour cream. For this recipe I will be making 3 cups worth so make sure you have a container to hold that amount.
Add it to ALL THE THINGS!!!! Wings, Pizza, Spaghetti (yeah I said it), Veggies, Salad... Whatever you like, there are no judgments when it comes to Cubano Dressing. You might even want to write that with a sharpie on your bottle. "No Judgments"
Looking so forward to trying this
