Elevate your bacon game with this simple candied bacon recipe. Just sprinkle on brown sugar and Lane’s Apple Pie Seasoning, then bake until the bacon is perfectly crispy and irresistibly sweet. It's a surefire way to add a burst of flavor to any meal!
Ingredients
-
Lane’s Apple Pie Seasoning
-
1 Pack of thick cut bacon
-
1 apple
-
Brown sugar
Directions
Set Oven/Grill/Smoker to 300 degrees. Lay out 2 feet of parchment paper or foil and place as many slices of bacon that will fit side by side. I used 8 slices at a time.
Grab a hand full of brown sugar and sprinkle over top. Evenly rub brown sugar all over the bacon. Season the bacon liberally with Lane’s Apple Pie Seasoning. Flip bacon and repeat for the other side.
Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire cooling rack on top. Spray with oil and evenly place bacon on top. - Optional - Place thinly sliced pieces of bacon on top of half the bacon.
Cook until bacon is done (try not to burn the bacon) It took around 45 minutes to an hour.
When done, remove from heat and cool. You might want to remove from wire rack to parchment paper so that the sugar does not harden to the wire rack. Fully allow to cool and enjoy!

Hey Michelle, it is just our little spin on the recipe. It adds a little extra “candied apple” flavor to the bacon. You can do it without the apples or even sub in jalapenos for a little extra spice.

What is the Apple for?
